The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一份充满爱心的早餐，配上饭团之后有了微甜的滋味，它无法让每个人都满意，却捕捉到曾经历的青春滋味。真人真事改编，投射出了自己学生时代的青春记忆。
一时间很迷惑本片的受众，90后已经过了中二的年纪，不喜欢疼痛文学了。00后看这个不会觉得土吗？ 差点以为昊然弟弟也要没了。这片放贺岁档挺奇怪的，坐立难安。
就是一堆素材，用并不恰当的“纽带”串联。韩寒的心思全用在这个纽带上面，通过制造反差、恐惧解除等粗浅手段炮制出来的笑料各有优劣。人名梗、性别梗、认知错位滞后，剧情始终往观众最想不到的地方走，由此作为故事的硬驱动力，韩寒一直玩的就是这点东西。这也不是哪家独有的买卖，玩出个人风格也是真本事。刘浩存的穿搭路线接近所有直男的想象，刘昊然还真是越扮越嫩。所谓青春残酷，就是用死去的兄妹来诠释？别闹，比起青春的茫然，影片的人物更像孤魂野鬼。
难道女主角不会怀疑吗？
有点矫情 有点幼稚 但也有点可爱 有点喜欢
在国外的深夜，坐在看完电影回家的火车上，和阿耀的孤独有很强的共鸣。
台湾还是一如既往的会拍青春小清新。从剧情到演员，再到成本控制，我总感觉这部电影是导演为了自己某一段青春期的回忆做的总结。
虽然骂声一片，但我跟你们讲，这片子绝对是韩寒导演生涯最佳。除了各种冷笑话、贴胸毛之外，居然还懂得捕捉女人心事，聚焦打工人生计了，可惜，昊然和浩存这刘家两兄妹的演技和各种天外飞仙般的魔幻剧情，足以把这点进步抹得一干二净。小韩还是回去当他的“作家”为好。
想起了高中那年的暗恋 我要是有勇气说出来 现在就不会觉得遗憾了吧

神奇般地很好看，虽然有些情节很尬，但是是那种看了会让人心情变好的片子。
