The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 摄影、色调、服装、道具都不错，演员们肯定没少看黑道家族，哈哈哈哈，模仿得有点重了。
单独成片的话，剧情确实有点松散。但作为黑道家族的前传番外篇，也挺有意思。特别是那股不露声色，不发则以，一发致命的狠劲。

故事一般，比较老套，画面色调和构图很美，截了好多图做桌面。那个年代的美国有很多精致的设计。
小成本，戏很简单，剪辑一般，节奏缓慢。人物性格模糊，行为合理性存疑。
很喜欢，全程不用动脑，就静静感受那场风雪，感受山，感受疲倦劳累和不懈坚持，感受伤痛和治愈。

纯粹的情怀之作，但拍的也太温吞水了吧，黑帮片还是少些纯粹为了衬托氛围的文艺范吧。

裸露戏有必要吗女神一把年纪了还要裸露身体。
感觉像是把一堆单元剧剧情塞进电影的感觉。。。没看过电视剧的我真的一脸懵逼很多点完全没get到，事后问了看了剧的朋友才发现这片子果然是部情怀片，给看剧的人看的。另外为啥要强行安排一个剧里没有的黑人角色，拜托，你实在要政治正确直接让Frank Lucas亲自上阵都行啊，反正都让这角色出场了也比设计这么个小喽啰来搞事情强啊。
作家的视角最终无法在虚构与现实中重叠，将故事的现实河悲剧性予以延申；纵然热爱文学、坚忍爱情，终究无法觅到幸福，这其中缺乏真正动人的细节；看到最后，我还是想在酒吧与吟子姐偶遇。

兜兜转转把一条线串起来还算有趣，但是整体就是流水账叙事，一般般
主角的故事不错，就是觉得那个戴绿帽的小哥惨
没看过《黑道家族》的没必要看。主角Dickie就是Tony推崇的Strong silent type，但跟Tony一样，生活也一团乱麻，可惜电影时间短，不够从容，拆成八集迷你剧会好很多，还是需要些时间跟角色相处。卖了很多情怀，但就吃这套呀。
全片细节和配乐还是可以的
主要缺点是没以Tony为主线，而是Dick这个在剧集里没露面的人
前一小时的自救互救还是挺有氛围感的，收尾暗淡
