The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 像没有很喜欢rent一样，也没有很喜欢这个电影，只觉得嘈杂...有的歌还不错，安加菲也老了...
LMM首次做導演能有這個水平，他真的很有才華。這電影形式眼前一亮，展現musical行業的艱難，並致敬了LMM的知音Johnathan Larson。Broadway充滿有才華的演員，但有幾個能以此為生，感謝這些堅持夢想的人們❤️

一直在等seasons of love, 原来是最难的故事啊。看到桑爷好难过。
倒数时刻，一部理想信念的十万个为什么。
有点点失望，整部电影没有一首好听得能记住的歌。唯一一首林聚聚擅长的rap还是让黑人唱的，很明显的黑人唱白人写的rap的感觉🤷♀️。故事还是挺励志的，梦想就是要一直坚持，但是实在是没什么新意。

没了解过背后故事也能好好看的电影～
但是我能感觉到电影作者的热情...我觉得能有这种力量也很棒，所以这一个星多给的就是这种，坚持下去发出声音的勇气和力量。
至少可以
与lalaland遥相呼应；导演对“舞台”的掌控力一流；加菲 is soooo underrated（心目中最佳还是Angels in American，神级本子和制作，加菲也奉献了无与伦比的表演！）
主题和《爱乐之城》还挺相似，有优点，但都不是源自类型魅力，歌舞部分实在不太行
脆弱、神经质都有了。秒针走动的声音也贯穿全剧。但是剧情太跳跃了，经常进不去。

音乐剧人致敬音乐剧人，本片也改编自拉森的音乐剧自传。节奏和情绪演绎（真人与音乐段落跳接）很有趣，可惜没在大屏幕看，但感觉看现场最合适。印象最深是和女友争吵那场戏。
唉，又看哭。fear or love，baby？
