The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 美国早些年代的黑帮故事，不管意大利人、爱尔兰人、黑人的，都不会太难看。都像是暴力电视剧，没什么太核心的内容，模板差不多，就是你砍我、我砍你、互相报复、死掉或者蹲大牢，留下一堆伤心的女人和儿童……
3.5/5 隔了十几年小心翼翼重启的IP，有情怀不够讲清楚故事。黑帮为何而战，每个人的动机和追求都不一样；但电影却简化成了你灭我一人，我敬你一个。两代叔侄间的关系可以形成对比延续；但本电影最有记忆点的却是梦想要开美容院的情妇。该成长的没有觉醒的过程，要flop的也缺少涟漪。如果没看背景介绍，恐怕要一头雾水。

对意大利黑帮题材还是比较有好感的。但毕竟前有《教父》之类经典高不可攀，后期想有所突破的确很困难。

情怀满满，好几个演员找的还挺像的。但是质量真的比不上剧集里那最优秀的几集，还是通过生活琐碎描绘这疯狂的一家。结尾片头曲响起破防了。

整部电影就如同标题里Many-Multi/Sanits-Santi这个自以为是的文字游戏一样无聊；同时尽管我对近年来美国影视作品里的政治正确现象基本持理解态度，但还是不明白为什么在这部《黑道家族》前传里要加入大量且基本无意义的民权运动内容。本作之于《黑》比《续命之徒》之于《绝命毒师》还要糟糕。
