The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 2、推理逻辑几乎等于没有。缉凶过程没有任何有用的铺垫。
不太真实，除了毕业歌曲那一段难以共情！剧中人物都太过理想化了。女主为啥不改口叫爸啊… 两星作品，但是永野芽郁演高中生实在是太青春了加一颗星。明明是催泪弹但是丝毫没有哭出来。
租来的房子可以很舒服，过继的家庭也可以很温暖，看着没有常规家庭片的那种协调感，但这才是真实的生活，石原里美真是我的女神
哪怕是石原里美，这个价值观也不认同。前面80分钟还不错的

该猜到的都猜到了，最后也不知道凶手为啥要杀人…..
跟第一部大差不差，一样是靠名牌卡司、瑰丽场景和熟练调度来挽救“你把大伙儿叫到这来，就是为了这点事啊”的平庸剧本。除了比上部少了些八点档肥皂剧的支线，也没有太多的进步了，当然这得归咎于东野烂泥扶不上墙的原著。
去la就是为了要转场吧，老在一个景里拍多没意思。
最后的这个诡计真的是😮💨 还不如看木村跳探戈
不太喜欢接力棒这个名字。优子在这种不断更换家庭的环境中长大，很多时候要独自适应陌生人成为父亲，没有心里阴影和叛逆是奇迹吧。我只能说这是个理想故事
人物设定实在是太空洞了，故事也完全是在走过场，块状叙事虚得一塌糊涂，还有那让人发怵的营业笑容和美人鱼泡沫般的演技……可不争气的我总还是会为有遗憾的亲情动容，可恶，就会用这么点东西拿捏观众。

十元的妆造过猛了 比顾里的癌症造型还夸张 田中圭现在演这种老实好男人信手拈来 永野芽郁和田中圭 冈田健史和朝比奈彩都比同龄人官配更有感觉

为了冈田看，结果冈田在这里没那么好看了。剧情就是没有剧情。
剧情三分吧，最喜欢的男演员和最喜欢的女演员捏在一起加分
我知道它逻辑乱飞，人设崩盘，亲子关系，恋爱关系都天真到感觉到生活在乌托邦。（前半部分是钢琴广告，后半部分是大型倡议生子现场，槽点多多。）但是毕业合唱那场戏真的泪点满满，鼻子酸了又酸，被不同的没有血缘关系的爸爸妈妈养大，那个爱哭鬼小嘤终于还是健康长大了。（选了永野芽郁和十元还有田中圭，拯救了这部电影）
