剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     #柏林影展 #EFM 本屆柏林影展少數打起精神觀賞的主競賽片。透過舊資料畫面搭配黑白攝影，甫一開始令我想起柏格曼與費里尼。一趟骨灰之旅，彷彿一位影人之死；尾段的歡快與全彩，慢慢將故事帶往另一趟未知的旅程。當他在墓地前刻下了名字；當他老邁地坐在墓前，四季交替，人生宛若一場即將告別的演出。

    爱尔兰外景后加工。亚瑟堡应该是蒂珀雷里郡的凯尔城堡，进入绿教堂之前那个缴纳忠诚的堡是奧法利郡的Charleville。这些古堡，都因为维护和旅游运营，没有被片中直陈的恐惧绿色重新吞噬和循环。电影的气氛营造和节奏控制相当不错，纵使完全没了解过亚瑟王传说和之后的英诗，看不到好多知识和隐喻，也算能伴随享受这个失去荣誉和尊严的逆向成长之旅吧。那就当是绿叶对根的情谊吧。
