The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这部我小时候没看过诶！补了之后感觉很喜欢！
能看到制作团队对独特的民族风格动画的艺术追求，人物形象很生动，水墨场景很美，中国音乐和动画配合得也很好，但可能是受限于体制和时代环境，个人觉得故事和人物性格比较单薄。

优秀的有点诡异的动画，老狐狸，俏狐狸，单腿狐狸。
并不觉得这部片子如其评分和评价一般神乎其神，但的确反映出四十年前的动画作品走的是于当下不同且显著高于当下的路子。观影的时候不断思考两个问题：一是国内的动画（和动画之外）何至于自我阉割至今天的水平；二是作为艺术的动画或许不只如皮克斯工作室代表的极度逼真一条发展路线，几笔线条带来的审美体验完全可以不输计算机营造的极致光影。
