The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情很有耐心很不错，尤其是最后立意放在彼此疗愈上。不过性工作者的合法性还是不能因为本片而被推举上舞台。还是只能处于灰色地带。
三星半，完全没想到是一个这样的故事，看得很开心。一种工整的，计划好的，没有意外的故事。却处处有些小惊喜，小欢乐，很童话，很梦幻。表演过于用力，也可能是故意为之。

好棒的小品啊，在极其有限的空间里，治愈了两段生活。
五星。真好，舞台剧的魅力，荧幕电影给不了，荧幕电影的优势，舞台剧也比不上。它们没有优劣之分，当这两种艺术载体从平行线交汇到一起时，就有了《来自远方》，很多没有机会条件看现场舞台剧的观众，可以通过一块相对廉价的屏幕，体验到之前难得的体验。

一个墨守陈规的宗教学教师在中年老年丧偶后开房叫鸭的故事，并在台词中探索了家庭、父母和孩子、长辈和孩子等各类社会关系，讲求人在某种层面上的自我解脱。境界不错，就是太戏剧化。
