The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 虽然是基于真实事件，但剧情起码有一半是编的（不懂司法部女儿这个角色的存在是为啥，略煽情做作）。不过历史上Silverton trio的确点燃了释放曼德拉的星星之火。为自由而战的故事永远让人动容。
不错的片子，甚至不需要艺术加工，能把真实事件完整据实地拍出来就已经足够了。

剧作有一定基础。表达上很常规，冲突设置的新意也不太足，某些细节比较直白粗浅。在取舍上更偏向于娱乐性。另外：蝎子王也老了呀！
男主虽然很帅，但是因为希望有家庭有孩子甚至有孙子，才和女主交往，真的太伤人了，看的我非常来气，如果想要做homo拜托不要伤害喜欢你的人
