The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 示范西部宝刀未老。他们不是埋头苦干，只是不想出手，别抬头，你会没事的。
至少闪回交代一下以前的“丰绩”吧，不然还是显得突兀。就算信任了，也不至于为其拼命，特别是作为本来就是想隐姓埋名的人，带着儿子离开不应该是最好的选择吗？
就电影本身来讲，已经够完美了。但就大众的审美偏好来讲，有点过于平淡，典型的七分电影。
一般，就最后干了一仗，发现是农夫与蛇的故事。一代代就这样教育，就这样苦哈哈，惨兮兮的，谁都得防着。说一堆有啥用？还不是又穷又没文化。
正宗老式西部片的调子，传奇人物比利小子演义后传，犹如《水浒传》之阮小七被演绎成《打渔杀家》之萧恩。
讲了一个为抚养熊孩子浪费了大好青春的天才枪手亨利又回光返照的故事。
中规中矩的西部片，画面唯美，结局也意料之中
慢节奏的稀泥巴乡村西部，还是得有酒吧有**的西部才西部。
七分，天才牛仔退隐江湖与世无争善心萌动卷入恩怨阴沟翻船。
看了“比利小子”的历史后顿觉本片又精彩了几分，特别是老演员和真实的“比利小子”的脸型非常相似，但是又是一张非常丧的老农民的脸，这使他最后决战时的英姿显得尤为帅气。舞剑之人必死于剑下，在江湖上混早晚都是要还的，片中的那对渊源在我看来实在是一个十分浪漫的宿命安排。
大哥演了那么多配角，终于干了个主角，一如既往的狠辣。

父子情这个线挺揪心，翻出枪套那个时候，故事就立起来了
俗套的故事，但西部片就有这股子狠劲，抓人！
值个三星半把，放在今天有这样纯粹的西部片确实不易。但把它放在那些优秀的西部片里比较来看，就显得很平庸了。
节奏太喜欢了 特别棒的沉默寡言的柔情故事男的西部Home Defense的故事
很适合沉浸观看的老派西部片，没想到是比利小子的梗。前面老亨利开挂，后面中那几枪，包括最后被暗算是败笔。
