Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
片子拍的过于端正了，很多地方嗯煽情，但无奈剧本实在太好。我真的是从中间哭到结尾眼泪没有停过。看着这个全世界最酷、最孤独的男人的背影，我真的想弄清楚：他到底在想些什么？在把大半辈子都奉献给了艺术后，名为北野武的男人到底得到了什么？他还有什么想要的吗？《座头市》的片尾，阿武安排了让全剧组的所有职员上舞台跳踢踏舞的戏，那大概是两种永恒中的一种：既可以继续待在剧场死死倚靠伙伴间那一点点的真诚和温情，永久地跳着滑稽的舞蹈；也可以在即使电梯这样的逼仄空间里跳踢踏舞。“混蛋，我可是艺人！”他从来就不可能后悔。（影帝的演技实在太nb了..小麦也很有长进不过扮相咋恁像低配小松还是短发适合她）

大体上很精彩，不用太多场面，却表现如此紧张扣人心弦的情节，厉害！不过磁带的部分，没有厘清，但还好不影响大情节。
Berlinale居然会入没想到 肯定又有人要出来说这说那了（嘻嘻）剧情本身不反套路吗？挺棒的啊 也许我对黑帮题材本来就有滤镜吧 这是“凡人”也有搞翻（搅屎）帮派的典范哈哈哈哈哈 😃😃😃

然而现在电影市场完蛋了，观众和营销号们都已经疯了，没片可看，没文案可写，大家像是荒岛上饿了很久的野人，稍微看见点像样的食物就蜂拥而上，奉若至宝。

你们知道在当今想象力无比匮乏的好莱坞，能有这么个精巧的剧本是有多不容易吗？何况还拍的这么有腔调。

姜还是老的辣，行走江湖就是这样子吧，大隐隐于市，男主太帅了，最后走出裁缝店的背影，深藏功与名。
裁缝小店故事多，邪恶入侵牛仔裤，话术杀人缴子弹，激将藏尸窝里斗；剧透预警：开膛手杰克大战芝加哥黑帮。老派优雅别致

打败剪裁师的是廉价的蓝色牛仔裤，打败黑帮的是文明的现代制度。我是懂得测量熨烫，叠出正方形胸巾的剪裁师，会用更缜密的方法杀人。身在黑帮，软弱是最大的缺陷。你用手枪杀人，我用剪刀救人。被黑帮杀掉的人，是剪裁裤子时扔掉的废布头。不必告诉顾客不合身的上衣不是因为袖子，只需要替他剪掉肩膀。
除了最后略有点血腥之外，整体都不错。在这么小的空间里把故事讲好，不免联想起《十二怒汉》和《这个男人来自地球》。
不要讨好观众，谐星应该明白自己的水准在哪里。 真挚的师徒情。
全片就发生在裁缝店，很像一个舞台剧。喜欢主角伦纳德以裁缝视角平稳叙述的打样、裁剪、缝制、结尾将故事起承转合划分开来。“不是Tailor，是Cutter”这句裁缝强调的台词，是不是在暗示电影本身不是简单的tell，而是在cut（剪辑真相拼接成不同的故事）呢？不难想到反转，反倒是在结尾火海里，老裁缝领悟的“与不完美妥协，接受，再重新开始”，有股看似治愈的黑暗感。其实有几个时刻，我觉得要是把这部剧的思路拿去拍《王牌特工》前传就好了。
而真正的完美是不可能的。
马克·里朗斯优雅掌控全场，全片的节奏尽在导演掌握之中，可以说是完成度200%的《不速来客》。
