The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? At first I thought it would talk about restorative justice vs punitive justice. As story unfolding it shows different social classes in America and how people from these classes think and act.

理应可以处理得更好的故事，闪回，冲突与最终和解都处理得张力不够。对于生活如何重新开始如何继续向前，只是提出些非常浅层的表达。确实都为桑德拉的表演服务了，看似简单的丧其实表演层次感还是很强的，但还是被故事卸掉了不少劲儿，比起《美好的世界》后劲差很多。
3.5 后置事件真相，加之前半程极为克制的情感暴露（从表演和导演层面均是），使得ruth到中心点时开始流露出的情感极具爆发力；不知道是不是真实事件就如此——1.ruth和katie是姐妹而非母女；2.结尾ruth冒着生命危险救的是绑架错的emily。很细微的两点，把ruth对katie的“两次拯救”剥离掉了很多身份属性（亲情）带去的动机，使得产生的情感变得纯粹且具有穿透力
Amazing act by Sandra Bullock - challenging movie with a deeply moving ending. The film is powerful in its imact and message. It is harrowing in places but the ending gives you hope, something that is in desperately short supply in the world.
整部都有女性视角特有的细腻感。强烈起伏的情感被压抑下来太悲哀了…更生人到底要如何更生法律要如何绝对公平…太难了

改编自同名英剧，桑德拉布洛克值得一个小金人
前面压抑了那么久，最后的那一下无声拥抱把所有情感都带出来了
不断闪回的记忆揭开历史真相，然而并没有太多惊喜。肃杀压抑氛围的塑造类《东城梦魇》。比起讲好故事，更多情节为了人物而生，毫无疑问女主贡献了极为精彩的演技，大有奔奖而去的野心。
剧情虽然不是很有新意 但是镜头太过真实 大脸特写特别给力
最后反转略为惊喜，其他拍出了很美国的样子，但五年前的水平。
从法理上讲，她丧失了对妹妹的监护权，不能这么粗鲁对待她妹妹的养父母
替妹妹入狱的情节有点狗血了，桑婆的表演很好。
剧本很好，里面的人物塑造很丰满。整个故事层层递进，叙事中带点悬疑。桑婆的演技炉火纯青，眼神中有沧桑与隐忍，坚定与不疑，值得二封。
桑德拉·布洛克演的真好啊，光看眼神就把戏演完了，那种情绪在零界点的表演绝了！可惜剧情拉胯，真的刻意和狗血，尤其两兄弟的内容，都不像是这些年的电影。
桑婆演技炸裂，受不了这种内敛的哀伤、忍耐，她还没哭我已经哭湿了满脸。
剧本和各个角色的演绎都大赞，难得又遇到可以泪奔的电影了
