The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 如果你看过玄幻修仙网文，这几乎是一样的套路。难得的是，这是一个平铺直叙的故事，我们看到的是一老一少之间的情谊，看到的是对社会现象的批评，以及远胜一切地对于理想的追求。青春成长电影，不励志，不煽情。

在《闻香识女人》的框架里塞入了，韩国教育体制问题，贫富分化，教育资源的分配不公，南北韩的传统议题……但剧本编的太过神奇，让人无法相信。
本片几大特色：
对于这种系列电影来说，经常遇到的一个问题是看到续集却忘了前作讲了些啥，而更糟糕的一个问题是拍的如此之烂，让人根本没有兴趣去想前作到底拍了些啥。
也就是在HP正传里通过其他角色的只言片语描摹了一个“原来他俩曾经这样相爱”的模糊框架才看起来好嗑，蒙面的美人才最美丽。
3星半，天才数学家与执着少年的心灵交融之旅，在对知识的追求中相互填补精神世界的缺口，叙事比较流水账没有波澜，老戏骨崔岷植表演内敛深沉。
