The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up.     Apple流媒出品，俨然一副自家广告宣传片的样式，UI界面动画效果和家居装饰风格都透着浓浓的苹果未来软硬件产品的极简设计美感。陈旧科幻概念包装下的温软小品，电影既没有野心进行更深层次的伦理探讨，也无意走惊悚路线去设置反转玩阴谋论，回避了争议焦点，仅仅以爱为名做文章，中规中矩地讲述了一个关于生命与死亡、自私与无私的故事，用天鹅濒死前发出的凄美绝叫比喻癌症患者临终前为了延续爱做出的痛苦抉择，克隆体作为替代品可以完全复制本体的容貌与记忆，却无法真正转移灵魂深处的情感，这般高尚的爱未免太过自我感动。迷你短片的体量，靠拖拉的回忆和内心戏抻到了两小时，导演似乎还没有驾驭长片的能力，实际那点内容早已被抖音各大影视类营销号归纳总结了。在我看来同题材不如《Moon》好看，类似文艺调性也差《Her》太多。
