The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 中规中矩的传记片，但是音乐太棒啦，女主也演的好，可以加一颗星。

感觉内容很多，导演都想表达所以有些事交待得不清楚，看着有点懵，也说明她的生平确实曲折复杂
Biopic最怕就是没有记忆点，特别是跨越多个时间段。选JH来演是对的，她的演绎和歌曲是很强的记忆点，但这些都是观众早已熟悉的。影片对人物深度和时代背景的挖掘还欠些力度。
刀疤有点惨，可惜了。

歌曲的编排很好，但剧情比较弱。可是能重新回味也是好的

感觉她真是分裂，我不接受一个有成就的民权斗士的内心竟然是靠宗教哄着撑起来的。
最终章了，鼓励一下，其实也值四星，不过网大算好的啦！把狱警写的太低能了。。。没什么高潮，平平淡淡。刀疤死了也意味着越狱结束了

导演编剧都是TVB出身，成品也非常电视电影，制作上也非常简陋，后面有一段反转根本没有交代清楚，方中信同陈家乐两个男主角色上甚至前后性格都快对调了，唯一的看点是各位演员们的表演，当然，陈家乐还是不行。就这种根本没有触及什么实质东西的剧本居然还会被埋这么多年也是服了。
在传记主人公生涯peak的时候电影结束了，不失为一种处理方法
3.5星吧，前半部分有点拖沓，刀疤还死了有点子难过，剧情冲突的悬疑感有了但是收尾有点平平。
都能预料到，但就是拍得那么完整，该有的都有了
