剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. Pride and Prejudice in Fire Island.虽然狠狠地套了Jane Austen的壳，但是在层出不穷逐渐疲软的gay comedy中，本片依然凭借出色的screenwriting带来了许多亮点。很多非常niche却极为relatable的queer insider jokes,以及从The Ethical Slut到Alice Munro这样看似pretentious但依然有着nodding to the literature gays的温柔.对于男同性恋社群内部问题，identity crisis,以及Asianess in gay culture的探讨，相对轻盈却保持了足够细腻，配合不能再酷的queer OST实在太棒了

    跟《尚气》只能看开头的20分钟不同，这片只能看最后的20分钟。把许多人童年的经典《捉鬼敢死队》拍成儿童片没有问题，问题是拍成了儿童烂片。一流的特效+不入流的故事。幸好最后1984年的四位队员回来露脸了。

    还算是有诚意，作为青少年向的爆米花片还不错。女孩和小胖子很有趣，故事中规中矩，情怀的点子不错，演员缺少惊喜。完成度不错的商业制作，打发时间OK。
