The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 有点日本剑客的味道。
没有一个人在讲人话，剧情稀碎，一个小时过去了还不知道主人公到底想干啥，塑造的江湖架空，架空并不意味着失真，每个人做事都没有逻辑且非常直接，每个人都在端着。你要学王家卫就学到底，要学徐浩峰就学到底，哪怕说你抄袭日本剑戟片你也抄得真诚一点好吗？否则就是四不像、丑八怪
十步杀一人，千里不留行，事了拂衣去，深藏身与名。
用逻辑讲不通，用理性讲不通，只能讲感情了，都讲得通了。感觉主人公像是击败一个个小赌场，最后跟boss决斗的是一场梭哈，到最后了还不放心，感觉是个骗局。其实一切都是那么的真实。
塞北的取景和音乐不错，故事比较简单，情节发展比较慢，男主老婆最后的举动真是难以理解。
真是有内味儿啦！很久没看到这么有感觉的刀客电影了。演员选的不错，编剧不拉胯，多点这种网大让我们洗洗眼
1、剧情缝合感严重，王家卫的东邪西毒+水浒传林冲+绣春刀加钱很润哥，为了刻画学武之人没有好下场的宿命感，故事的合理性是经不起推敲的
网剧的投资预算，拍成这样，感觉还是不错的！

打斗不浮夸，不错的，最后让小孩死是为了补偿么?
不知道的以为昆汀新片呢，简直就是山寨版的姜戈，全员话痨，音乐带感，剧情再紧凑点就好了（原声大碟里kid cudi和jay-z合作的那首真不错）。
虽然故事很俗套 演员都不认识 但是我觉得还挺好看的 演员演技还可以 摄影和打斗场面也都蛮好的 很有古早武侠片内味儿 都2022了 难得还有人拍武侠片 而且拍的还不难看 多一星鼓励下
开篇不错，有着王家卫的影子，可惜人物降智，形象扁平，逻辑不通，家长里短拖沓无趣，关键是女的毫无演技。武指比隔壁悍刀行强了十倍不止，真实且矫捷，毕竟是个网大，在全网妖魔鬼怪和浮夸沙雕的霸道总裁里也算一股清流了。
2.5/5，爱看古装动作片的可以一看。全片前半部分的动作戏设计不错，值3星，开场打斗和坟地切磋部分的刀战可以给3.5星——转折，之后的整个剧情、台词包括动作场面就开始拉垮，有点迷究竟是什么原因造成的。混江湖的智商不够早死八百遍了，这个剧情是真硬伤...看得出来无论编剧还是导演应该都是《双旗镇刀客》、徐浩峰的影迷，但还要再努力努力啊...
给有心的网大一点鼓励。动作设计学的徐皓峰，故事是西部电影。虽然还是有很多缺陷，但没有网大那股急吼吼用最傻的东西骗观众的劲
场景加分，人物动作都加分，编剧太弱了。交待的太细，情感拉的太长，看着看着就想快进，江湖儿女不都是为活而卖命，导演没拍出来。这个女主演的大内密探很好看，比一般的垃圾电影好很多，看的到导演用心了。但是实力差点，花点子太少
比现在的一些垃圾电影好多了，只是没有知名明星才会没人看
早年练刀的时候，总问前辈，下一招出什么；前辈说，不用去想下一招，一切都是时机的选择。有一点倭寇踪迹的徐皓峰，又有一点东邪西毒的王家卫。
除了剧情有那么点硬伤
硬核武侠，挺好看的，拍的用心了，满分鼓励，国产继续加油啊
